About Us

Our humanitarian journey and commitment to human value.

BANADURGA is a humanitarian, autonomous and interdisciplinary local voluntary organisation with its Head Office at Qr. No. L/28, Baramunda Housing Board Colony, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and its branch office at Village Jhadrajing, District Boudh, Odisha.

The organisation was originally dedicated to the ideals of human potential development through economic activities. Banadurga originated in 1990 with the active participation and cooperation of like-minded people headed by Smt. Basanti Nanda. She organised a group of activists and strengthened a spirit of service among them.

The group later formed BANADURGA, which was registered in 1993 with the aim of building a society where every individual has the right to live with human value. For state-level implementation, it was registered with the IGR Office at Cuttack on 12 December 1994.
